Apple Store + Homework

Friends! We have a pretty exciting week and we'd love to make you part of it. On Wednesday (tomorrow) we're going to be speaking at the new Apple Store in Lincoln Park. We're going to be talking about what we do away from our computers that really inspires our work. It's going to be from 7PM to 8PM. Swing by and say "Hi!"

Of course, most excitingly, this Friday we will be featuring our friends Public School at The Family Room. This Austin-based collective focused on design, illustration and photography have put together a show entitled "Homework". Homework is an opportunity to show work created individually, after-hours, and with no client direction. Spanning a variety of mediums and covering subjects including cowboys, hot dogs, old motels, 30s stuff, and trade gothic, Homework features much of the self-initiated work produced by the studio this year. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, September 9th, 2011.

This event is sponsored by the rad cats at Uncommon. We will be selling limited run, Public-School-designed iPhone 4 cases!

The event starts at 6:30pm with readings at 7pm including Mairead CaseZach Dodson, Denise Dooley and Gabriel Wallace.
