Don Hertzfeldt’s Rejected
How is it that I’ve never seen this before? Apparently I don’t spend too much time on Salon.com or The Huffington Post, who respectively named it one of the “Films of the Decade” and one of the five "most innovative animated films of the past ten years." Anyway, it made me smile. So there.


Rebecca Green
Really lovin’ the analog 3D work of Grand Rapids-based illustrator Rebecca Green—especially the City of Lumbourg series. The aesthetic falls somewhere between the work of Tim Burton and the Brothers Quay, and a little birdie told me that a stop-motion translation is in the works.
