We create technology and technology creates us. It transforms our culture, our politics and our personal lives, but in a slow and subtle way. At first, the novelty of our inventions eclipse their consequences. So, when we developed the printing press, the steam engine and the camera we didn't immediately foresee how they would revolutionize our understanding of knowledge, space and time. It would take decades and centuries before we came to terms with the new world created by these devices. And in this way, we live in a present created by the past - in a future of our own invention.

In our latest exhibition, titled Generat.io/ns, we consider how today's technology might impact tomorrow. Utilizing traditional and contemporary mediums, we trace a history of innovation and peer into its future through the eyes of today's cultural leaders.
