The Post-hippie Festival Team

The Festival

October 25, 2011
For the third year in a row our Post-hippie festival team headed off to another year of the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago's Union Park. Without any real journalistic agenda, unlike last year's videos with Wyatt Cenac and all the cool people at Flatstock #26, the team set out to take in the festival as one of the crowd. Seen through the eyes of this year's team, playboy James Ewert Jr and graphic designer with a camera Jeff Harvey, here is what it was like at the Pitchfork Music Festival 2011.
It happens every year. Sometime in mid-to-late July, The Post Family joins throngs of hip urbanites as they descend onto the baseball fields and basketball courts of Chicago’s Union Park for Pitchfork Music Festival, the Mecca of “indie” music. Then, usually two to three months late, sometimes later, we get around to posting the footage and photos of our yearly pilgrimage. In it are the remembered pieces of our yearly pilgrimage. Maybe next year we'll be taking that pilgrimage to Paris.
